He consulted a therapist who suggested that he stop playing such roles and choose something ventilated. Chinnada Gombe is a Kannada movie which was shot with its Tamil version titled Muradan Muthu. A few years later, Dilip Kumar starred in the Hindi remake.

Insaniyat – Palletoori Pilla

Insaniyat was the remake of a 1950 Telugu film Pile of Palletoori. It is said to be the only movie that has had Dev Anand alongside Dilip Kumar.

Shakti – Thangappathakkam

The epic father-son battle between Dilip Kumar and Amitabh Bachchan onscreen can also be attributed to a Tamil film titled Thangappathakkam which starred Sivaji Ganesan in the role played by Kumar in the Hindi version.

Based on the Telugu film Bobbili Brahmanna, Dilip Kumar played the lead voice and command of a village while Jeetendra played his brother. In the original Telugu, both roles were played by Krishnam Raju.

Kanoon Apna Apna

Kanoon Apna Apna is a remake of the Telugu movie Collector Gari Abbai and starred Madhuri Dixit and Sanjay Dutt with Kumar.

Mehboob Sadhu Aur Shaitaan which was a remake of the Tamil thriller Sadhu Mirandal had Dilip Kumar in a cameo.
